Meet Our Founder
Danielle West
Director of Intice, Instructor
The founder of Intice Dance Fitness is a St. Petersburg, FL native whose path to pole fitness was anything but straight. With a background spanning ballet, dance team, performance, accounting, and STEM, she spent years chasing conventional fitness before taking her first pole fitness class after her divorce — and discovering something she hadn't expected: a room full of women, real community, and the beginning of a journey back to herself.
That class changed everything. Pole fitness became her path to self-love, body trust, and healing. In 2019, inspired by those early girls' nights at home — two poles in the living room, music, movement, and no rules — she committed to building a space that would do for others what pole had done for her.
Intice Dance Fitness opened in October 2020, in the middle of a global shutdown, because this community couldn't wait. Today it stands as St. Pete's home for empowering pole fitness, dance instruction, and the belief that every body deserves to feel strong, confident, and fully at home in itself

Nikki Darling
Admin & Instructor
Nikki started pole in summer of 2017 after seeing a friend post videos online. She quickly fell in love with the way pole classes made her feel! She liked the sense of belonging to a group, and the confidence that grew from it. With a lifelong passion for teaching and learning, she started teaching classes in winter of 2018. In fall 2019, she performed in a pole show for the first time, and knew it was her new favorite thing! She strives to share her love of pole and performance with others, and help them become more confident by providing a loving, supportive environment.

Her style is influenced by contemporary, ballet, and Russian exotic technique.

The Lovely Layla

Vivant Boujee
Instructor
Hi! I’m Vivant. An electrical engineer by day and pole dancer by night. In college my friend suggested we try a pole dancing class and ever since that first class I’ve been hooked. My style is heavy on tricks, kips, and hair flips. The faster and spicier the better. I have been pole dancing since 2015 and teaching since 2021. I placed second in PSO Nationals in 2021 and 2022. I am an Xpert trained instructor in Level 1 & Level 2 tricks. Pole dancing a chance to express yourself while getting a great workout. My goal is to help others reach their goals and feel confident!

Zoe Cunningham
Twerk Instructor
Zoe believes that dance can bring out the light in us all, and she loves facilitating space for women to find their turn-on through dance. She creates an encouraging atmosphere for all bodies to explore their expression in movement. Her goal is to empower women to feel strong and sexy, and to have fun while doing it. Zoe is a Florida native who returned to St Pete after spending time in San Francisco and Barcelona. She incorporates a broad scope of movement influences, from latin dance to breakdance. She’s been dancing for 13 years, and teaching twerk for the past 4 years. In addition to dance, she is a RYT500 yoga teacher, and loves fitness and soccer. For her day job, she practices structural alignment therapy.

Polina Zueva
Instructor
Hi there! I’m Polina Zueva, a Russian Pole Exotic Instructor. I am very excited to share my style with you! I’ve been pole dancing for 7 years and teaching it for 5 years in Russia, Vietnam and America. I am lucky and blessed to have great experience taking part in competitions in Taiwan, Russia, Thailand, getting first places in some of them, being certified by POSA, teaching in different countries and owning my own studio in Vietnam and even being a judge in Vietnamese pole dance competitions. I like to combine flow with hard tricks, sensual slow moves with strength and control, but everything depends on a level. I also like to implement some freestyle as it helps to not just think about the moves and technique, but relax and feel the music, express yourself and feel happy and sexy! My favourite classes to teach are Russian Exotic and Pole Conditioning. I can’t wait to see you in my classes!

Anyah
Instructor
Hi, I’m Anyah. I am a prior performer and certified Level 1 Instructor from Impulse’s pole instructor program. I have been in love with pole dancing since my first class in 2019. Pole dancing has been an outlet for me through many uplifting and challenging times in life where once I would step inside the studio, the noise outside would be (and is) silenced and the freedom to express raw emotion was (and is) always welcomed. There is something magical with sharing a story through the art of dance. I am so excited to share this beautiful passion and hobby with you, of which I am grateful to have had many near and dear instructors share with me.
