What Should I Wear to My First Class?

For the best experience, wear clothing that allows for optimal grip on the pole. We recommend:

  • Bottoms: Shorts, booty shorts, or bikini bottoms—anything that leaves your legs exposed to help with gripping the pole.
  • Tops: A sports bra and/or a tank top.
  • Footwear: Socks are great to have, especially for warm-ups and certain movements.

Important: Avoid wearing lotion on the day of your class, as it can make the pole slippery. Also, remove all jewelry before class to protect both yourself and the equipment.

Where Is the Studio Located?

We are conveniently located in the same plaza as Domino’s Pizza—just head to the opposite end of the plaza, and you’ll find us!

What Happens When I Arrive?

When you step into the studio, you’ll be greeted by one of our friendly instructors. They will check you in, give you a tour, and help you feel comfortable before class begins. We’re here to support you every step of the way!

Should I Avoid Other Workouts Before Class?

Yes! To have the best first experience, we recommend avoiding other intense physical activities on the same day. Pole dancing engages your entire body, and you’ll want fresh muscles to make the most of your class without feeling overly fatigued.

What’s the Best Package for Beginners?

If you find yourself falling in love with pole after using your intro credits, we highly recommend the Beginner’s Unlimited Package! For only $225 per month, you’ll receive unlimited Beginner pole classes (including Level 1). This package is month-to-month, so you can enjoy the flexibility of committing one month at a time!

What are the different levels you offer and where should I start?

How do I know when I'm ready to level up?

We offer several different levels of classes at Intice; here is a breakdown of what you can expect from each level and what the recommended baselines are to be successful in the class.

Level 1:  Whether you're brand new to pole or looking to refresh your foundations, Level 1 is the perfect place to start. Tricks classes focus on essential elements like spins, climbs, basic shapes, and floorwork. Choreo and flow classes combine those skills into a fun, beginner-friendly routine—heels optional.

Look for classes labeled:

  • Pole Foundations Level 1
  • Beginner
  • Pole Strength and Conditioning
  • All Levels Contortion & Flexibility

Level 1.5: This transitional level is designed to bridge the gap between upright movement in Level 1 and the more advanced inverted tricks of Level 2. You'll work on climbing to the top of the pole, aerial entries, conditioning for standard and shoulder mount inverts, and more intricate floorwork and movement patterns.

We recommend attending at least 8-10 Level 1 classes before moving into Level 1.5 to ensure a safe and confident progression.

Level 2:  focuses on more advanced inverted and aerial tricks, including butterfly, shoulder mounts, aerial inverts, brass monkey, handstands, jade split, and conditioning for ayeshas. You’ll also start linking movements into longer combinations using a variety of transitions to build flow, strength, and stamina.

To get the most out of this class, you should have a clean invert from the floor, solid inside and outside leg hangs, and feel confident climbing to the top of the pole.

Level 3 & +: Our advanced dancers will thrive in this class, which focuses on tricks where serious strength and/or flexibility is required, like handsprings, iron X, cocoon, machine gun, dragon tail, and more, as well as complex transitions and diverse entries into classic shapes. It is recommended students have a solid pole background and have a straight leg invert, brass monkey, and at least one type of ayesha before signing up for this class.

If you aren't sure whether you're ready to take a more advanced class, just ask one of our instructors and they'll be happy to help you decide if it's right for you.
